The weather turns cold and I vent my angst in a poem: Hmmph.
Four days ago, I wore a bikini Today it snows
I feel like clobbering someone, something, anything, I want to KICK SOME ASS! I arrive at the coffee shop scowling and grumbling: only in this crazy-ass frozen nordicland I have the mispleasure of calling home…
But such is my destiny: To bitch about it when I’m here and to defend it fiercely when I’m gone
Returning from Los Angeles, I am struck by how wholesome everyone looks No fake-tanned-leathery-breast-implant-pretty-boy- bleached-teeth here We grow ‘em tall and tough
Am I tough enough to live here? More importantly, do I want to have to be? Every summer is a party Every winter is a funeral and I wonder where I belong
