Welcome to the Exhibitions Page!
|
My most recent Art Opening was held at a gallery called The Art Major in
Minneapolis, MN. The gallery is usually for students, but select
community artists were invited to participate in this particular show. |
 |
This is my dear friend Micah and me outside the gallery
pouting, upon arriving at the opening reception to find my artwork still
un-hung. It seems someone quit 3 days before the opening...
However, eventually it was hung, albeit more messily than hoped for, and
without the bios that were promised. These are three of my pieces (the
others have been whited out, in case the artists would not like to find
their work on my website). |

I must admit to being quite pleased that this piece sold--it
is a recent one entitled "Dance of Life". I have been branching out of
realism and into abstract/symbolic realms, and I think this painting was a
success. |

Micah and me inside the gallery. I should mention that
Micah's roommate and another friend of mine, Jon, was also at the opening.
He was smiling in the pouty picture, though, so I had to cut him out.
Sorry, Jon. Thanks for coming. |

Special thanks to my Mom, who is an indispensable helper
in transporting my artwork and who puts up with my pickiness even when I'm
stressed out and cranky. I love you, Mom! Your support means so
much to me. |
